The project, made possible thanks to the collaboration with the association/community home Sichem Onlus, was born as a counseling service with a dedicated phone number that women in need can contact 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Legal and psychological assistance is offered to those seeking comfort, wanting to know their rights, or invoking protection.

The peculiarity of “Mai Più (Never Again)” is the availability of free psychological and legal assistance, since the creation of the project in 2018, thanks to the involvement of professionals of the sectors. We support the beneficiaries on an ongoing basis, with personalized courses lasting months in case of need.

In the belief that only economic independence can lead a woman to complete emancipation, the project has recently been strengthened with the activation of training placements, thanks to the fundamental involvement of Women For Freedom Onlus. Companies in the region offer to some of the beneficiaries of the project internships supported by OTB Foundation, which in some cases have also turned into full-time hires.

Through the project Mai Piu’ in addition to the psychological, legal, and economic support provided to women victims of violence, Otb Foundation carries out a prevention campaign for students throughout Italy: a series of meetings aimed to raise awareness of gender-based and peer-to-peer violence.
