According to data collected by Sinpia, Italian Society of Childhood and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry, 20 and 25 percent of children and adolescents in Italy show signs of anxiety disorder and depression, respectively, while neuropsychological disorders are steadily increasing. In contrast, the resources of Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry services, continue to decline, and even urgent situations fail to find hospitalization.

To counteract the significant increase in anxiety and depression, thanks to the collaboration between OTB Foundation and Alice ETS Association , the project “Only The Brave chiama Alice” was born, a free help desk that caters to young people from all over Italy aged 12 to 25.

More than 200 young people have approached the desk since the beginning of the activity, and the steady increase in the number of requests has prompted the Foundation to structure this space of care even more, going so far as to offer, to each user over the age of 18 who needs it, the taking care of 10 free psychological interviews.
