Renzo Rosso, the OTB group and OTB Foundation contributed to the restoration of the Rialto Bridge in Venice, one of the most important and famous monuments in Italy and in the world

In 2012, OTB won the bid of the City of Venice to fund the restoration of the Rialto Bridge, with a contribution of 5 million euros. This is the first complete restoration of the bridge since it was built in 1590. The work has had minimal impact on the Venetian community and on the flow of pedestrians crossing the bridge daily and was completed in the second half of 2016 as expected and with cost savings that Renzo Rosso decided to reinvest in the restoration of the floors of the adjacent arcades, leading to the famous Fish Market. A further contribution to the beauty of Venice confirms the strong attachment that our Founder and OTB Group have to the territory and this unique city in the world.
