By working alongside the hospital school, active since 1988, it aims to ensure that young patients have equal opportunities in accessing education and learning.
The students who attend the school vary in age and come from different wards—from Pediatrics to Pediatric Surgery, from Maxillofacial Surgery to the Center for Eating Disorders. This diversity, together with the need to adapt to each patient’s clinical condition and treatment schedule, makes the educational activity particularly delicate.
In the 2025–26 school year, Palladio in Ospedale operates across all three levels of schooling—early childhood, primary, and lower secondary—while also working with adolescent groups undergoing rehabilitation at the Center for Eating and Weight Disorders.
