2.Why we collect your Personal Data
A. Partnership
OTB Foundation collects information, via application forms or other communication channels, from organizations wishing to apply for funding. Required fields (marked with an asterisk) must be completed; otherwise, your request cannot be processed. Optional data help us better understand your organization and evaluate your project. All such information will be kept strictly confidential. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract/service involving the data subject. Data are retained for ten years following the end of the relationship, after which they are destroyed or anonymized, in line with technical procedures.
Providing Personal Data is necessary for the requested service; refusal will make it impossible to establish a relationship with the Foundation.
A. Donations
In the case of donations, Personal Data are processed to issue receipts and comply with tax obligations. Some data may be mandatory; refusal to provide them may prevent the completion of the donation. The legal basis for processing is compliance with tax and accounting obligations, and retention periods follow applicable regulations. Data may be processed electronically or on paper and with appropriate security measures

If you subscribe, we collect your email address to send updates on project progress. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting info@otbfoundation.org. The legal basis is the performance of a service/contract. Data are retained until you unsubscribe, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Providing your email is necessary to receive the newsletter.
The Site is configured to minimize Personal Data processing and apply the principle of necessity. Some data are essential for operation, others are used for anonymous statistics and deleted immediately after processing.
